Melting Pot, in conjunction with Brugal Rum and Hillhead Bookclub, are extremely proud to bring to Glasgow for the first time in years a true “ Master At Work”, when Little Louie Vega takes over the Bookclub on Sunday 7th October.
Louie is one half of the truly legendary house producers, Masters At Work, with Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez.
You can’t understate the enormous influence this Grammy winner and four-time nominated producer and DJ has had on the world dance music scene.
From Nuyorican Soul to Elements of Life, Little Louie Vega has been at the forefront of pushing dance music boundaries for decades both as a producer and DJ. His latest double album, NYC Disco, is a homage to the classic New York disco scene of the 70s.
In true New York tradition, this is an all day house party in Glasgow’s West End, with a cracking support bill soon to be announced. We are bringing in a fantastic sound system and lights effects to transform the Bookclub. We also have a covered outdoor area open to 10pm for hanging out in.
