Spring is in the air as Midnight Riot starts their festivities with one of their biggest parties to date featuring an all-star lineup at the iconic 93 Feet East in the heart of London on Friday, April 1st. Spread across 2 areas, the main indoor space & their newly refurbished outside terrace, they’ve fittingly pulled together a huge lineup including Al Kent, Natasha Kitty Kat, Yam Who? Platinum City, Joelle Atkins plus a live debut from Danny Kane featuring Sophie Paul & Princess Freesia. The London-based label founded in 2012 by Yam Who? has gone on to be one of the most influential & respected labels in the dance music world. Their ethos is a celebration of life-affirming positive vibes whilst residing in the epicenter of a scene that remains hugely popular, expertly moving between starlight Disco, House, Boogie, Afro, Gospel, and party goodness! Glasgow’s Al Kent headlines bringing his big Million Dollar Disco sound south of the border. From his acclaimed BBE Music releases to his globe-trotting gigs, Al Kent knows how to move a dance floor with music that ranges from the most obscure disco to bonafide classics. Next up on the lineup, the Scottish connection continues with Edinburgh DJ and producer Natasha Kitty Katt. She’s in the top tier of modern disco producers and is a favourite at clubs and festivals around the world and is a Glitterbox regular and we can’t wait to hear what she’s got in store for us. Birmingham-based DJ and producer Danny Kane is the master of linking the past to the future and his journey has seen him work with some of the biggest names in the industry. To celebrate his debut album ‘We Come In Peace’ on Midnight Riot we have a special live PA featuring Sophie Paul (Girls Of The Internet) & Princess Freesia, the Brighton-based, Australian soul singer and songwriter. Also bringing guaranteed party madness and energy to the floor, is label boss Yam Who? a regular guest at some of the premier clubs and festivals around the globe and half of Qwestlife (Glitterbox Recordings) who will be joined by Manchester’s serial chart-topper Platinum City, fresh from his recent Traxsource No1’s.Last but not least, ex-Ministry of Sound & Hed Kandi resident Joelle Atkins will start the party with an early evening set, full of fun and infectious disco love.
